Total South Sudan universal access to water

Total has launched a program to install or renovate 117 water wells to provide drinking water to around 70,000 people. Water access problems were becoming critical in South Sudan and, in some cases, were leading to violence between communities. Alongside this initiative, Total has also developed a deforestation prevention scheme and has launched a program to introduce renewable energy sources.
